DLS Case

The DLS Case™ split casing system is a unique design for fast and efficient installation of casing on existing or new road crossing pipelines. The DLS Case™ casing system provides protection from pipeline road crossings. By using the special poly pipe as the casing and the patented Alumi-Joint connection as the reconnecting devise, the assembly of the top and bottom halves gives the casing a strong join, bringing back it’s original mono design and service for many years. Each casing has pre-installed polyethylene casing spacers that help keep the carrier pipe evenly spaced throughout the casing. The open end design provides awareness of leaks inside the casing that can be inspected during normal inspections.

Zinc Anodes Provide Cathodic Protection

The DLS Case™ offers an option with pre-installed Zinc ribbon anode used to eliminate the shielding effect for cathodic protection. The ribbon anode is then able to be connected to the carrier pipeline and be monitored through test stations or normal inspection procedures.

Special Applications Solutions

Special applications for sealing the ends of the casing can be provided using mechanical EPDM rubber seals and pre drilled vent holes and vent pipes.
